The Sun Runner Magazine
The Sun Runner Magazine of California Desert Life & Culture, providing a desert-wide Calendar of Events and a variety of articles covering desert arts & entertainment news (art, theatre, music, festivals and events), stories, columns, photography, editorials, philosophy, desert natural and cultural history, was launched in Twentynine Palms in 1995. With its editorial office now in Joshua Tree, the bi-monthly magazine serves Twentynine Palms, the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, and the hi-desert communities of Joshua Tree, Landers, Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, and Pioneertown in the Morongo Basin. It also reports on issues, events, destinations, and the arts throughout the California Desert.
